Ogden, UT…R&O Construction has named Nile Easton as its new Communications and PR Manager.

Easton, who steered communications at Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) since 2001, will be tasked with leading the Ogden-based construction company’s public relations efforts and assisting in marketing and branding as well as serving as the company’s primary media contact.

A graduate of Utah State University’s journalism program, Easton first worked at Ogden’s daily paper, the Standard Examiner, before leaving to work in public relations for the Utah Farm Bureau Federation and later UDOT.

R&O Construction is celebrating its 35^th year in construction, and was recently listed as one of the “Top 300” contractors in the nation according to Engineering News Record (ENR). R&O has offices in Ogden, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.

R&O has ongoing projects in eight states. Past and current projects include several Harmons and Smith’s, Station Park in Farmington, the Valley Fair Mall reconstruction, Utah State University’s Brigham City Campus, Cowabunga Bay Water Parks, the Blue Sky Distillery in Wanship, as well as a new IKEA in Las Vegas.
