NEW SALT LAKE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING IS ENERGY EFFICIENT

Public Works BuildingBuilt by R&O Construction, the new Salt Lake County Public Works Administration Building at 617 West 6960 S. in Midvale held a public grand opening on April 28, 2010. The 22,805 square ft. building is seeking a LEED Platinum certification. Some of the energy efficient components of the Salt Lake County building include concrete walls, recycled glass countertops, the use of reclaimed trestle wood, bamboo floors and ceilings and energy efficient solar panels.
